Enchant Tours

You can find us at Enchant Tours on the first floor of Pratap Palace, room 410. It’s on Seemadwar Road in Indra Nagar. It’s an old building, but it works for us. We spend our days here planning out tours and talking to people who want to see the sights. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it’s not too bad. Dehradun is a nice place to live and work. We have a few computers and a lot of maps. Most of the time, we are just looking at schedules and trying to match them with what people want. Sometimes we get groups, sometimes just one or two people. We don't have a big team. Just a few of us who know the local area well. The 248001 postcode is home. We handle the bookings and the phone calls. Sometimes the phone rings all morning and then it’s quiet for hours. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s not a polished business. We have files stacked up and notes written on scraps of paper. But we know where everything is. We try to make sure people get to see the places they want without too much trouble. Sometimes things change at the last minute, like a road closure, and we have to scramble to fix the plan. That’s just part of being in the travel business here in the hills.
