Our company, Ekomkar It Solutions Private Limited, is based at Plot 124 in Ishwar Vihar, Dehradun. It’s a bit of a residential area, which we like because it isn't as loud as the main market roads. We have set up our office here to focus on IT work without too many distractions. The 248001 area is pretty familiar to us, and being at Ishwar Vihar gives us a nice home base. We are a small team of real people, not a giant nameless corporation. When you call us, you usually talk to one of the people who is actually doing the work. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. We just have desks, chairs, and a lot of power strips for our equipment. Most of our day involves sitting at our computers and working through whatever IT tasks are on the schedule. We started this because we knew a bit about computers and wanted to turn that into a business. It’s been an interesting journey so far. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just rely on doing the work and letting that speak for itself. It is a simple way of running things, and it keeps our lives manageable. We are just glad to have a space in Ishwar Vihar where we can do our thing every day without any big corporate drama or complicated rules.
