Earth Ganga Tour & Travels

Our office is at 283 Haridwar Road, which is a pretty hectic part of town near the PG College. If you’re heading towards Koyal Ghati or looking for Hotel Ganga Kinare, we are right in that general area. Earth Ganga Tour & Travels is mostly just a small shopfront where we keep our logbooks and a couple of computers. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we’re always wiping down the table. We deal with a lot of people heading towards the river or the mountains, so there’s always someone asking about road conditions or if the rain has stopped up north. We have a few drivers who have been with us for years, and they usually hang out out front waiting for their next trip. It's a plain office with a few posters of the local temples on the walls. We don't really have a set routine; it depends on who walks through the door or who calls. Sometimes it’s quiet for hours, and then five people show up at once wanting to go to Haridwar. We just try to keep the cars clean and the petrol tanks full. The area around here has a lot of traffic, especially during the pilgrimage season, so it gets loud with all the honking. We just sit here, drink our chai, and handle the bookings as they come. The front door sticks a little when it's humid out, so you have to give it a good push to get inside.
