Ankur Chowdhary

I am Ankur Chowdhary. You can find me at 167 Chander Nager in Dehradun. Living here is a bit different than the bigger cities. The air is slightly better, though it gets quite cold in the winters. Chander Nager is a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. Our building is a simple one, number 167. It’s been our base for a long time. I don't see any reason to move. We have enough space for our desks and all the stuff we’ve accumulated over the years. Sometimes the rain here is so heavy you can’t hear yourself think, but it’s peaceful in its own way. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been together for a while. We get the work done without much fuss. There aren't any big logos on the wall or leather chairs. Just wooden tables and some old fans that creak a bit when they're on high. It’s a very local way of doing things. We talk to the shopkeepers down the road and buy our snacks from the same corner shop every afternoon. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy. People know where to find us if they need anything. We just keep the door unlocked during the day and see who stops by. It’s a straightforward life here in Dehradun, just working away at 167.
