Southfield College

Southfield College has been a part of Darjeeling for a very long time. We are located right here in the hills of West Bengal, with the 734101 pin code. If you live around here, you know how the weather can be, and it definitely affects how we run things day to day. Our college is a place where students come from all over the local area to get their education. It's a bit of a climb to get to us sometimes, given where we are situated in Darjeeling, but we are used to it. The building itself has a lot of history to it. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to polish our image, we just focus on the classes and the students. The atmosphere here is quite different from colleges in the big cities. It's a bit more relaxed, though we still keep a tight schedule for the lectures. We see the students walking through the town to get to their morning classes. Most of the staff has been here for years. We spend our time grading papers, talking to students in the hallways, and just keeping the place together. It's a local institution, and we take that seriously without making a big fuss about it. We are just a group of people working in Darjeeling, making sure the college stays open and functional for everyone who needs it. It is just a regular part of life in the mountains.
