Ekalavya Academy

Ekalavya Academy is over on J.C Bose Road in Subhaspally, Siliguri. The pin code is 734401. We are right by the Siliguri Girls High School. This area gets very crowded in the afternoons when the school lets out. You can see groups of students everywhere and hear the rickshaw drivers calling out. Our building is a bit tucked away, which is nice. Inside, we have a few rooms with basic setups. There are desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We have some old maps on the walls and a few shelves for books. It is not a polished or modern office. It is just a place for work. The air in Siliguri can be quite humid, so we keep the windows open as much as we can. Sometimes a stray dog wanders into the yard, but they are usually friendly. We don't have any corporate mission statements on the walls. It is just a room where people come to learn things. We open up the shutters every morning and stay until the evening. The walk from the main road isn't far. We have some water in a big jug for anyone who gets thirsty. It is a humble place, and we have been here for quite some time now. Most of the people around here know us by name. It is a very local Siliguri life for us every single day.
