Bholananda National Vidyalaya

We’ve been here on Barrack Road in Barrackpore for a long time now. Bholananda National Vidyalaya isn't just a building; it's where most of the neighborhood kids end up spending their day. The gates at 55-56 Barrack Road open early every morning, and that's when the noise starts. It’s a lot of bustling around, teachers carrying stacks of papers, and students trying to finish their work before the bell rings. Most people around here know us because their parents or even grandparents went here too. It’s got that old feel to it, but things keep moving forward. We don't have fancy stuff everywhere, but the classrooms are solid and the playground gets a lot of use during recess. Some days are quieter than others, especially when exams are going on, and you can hear a pin drop in the hallways. Other days, like when there’s a small event or just a rainy afternoon, it feels a bit more chaotic. Maintenance keeps us busy, as there's always a door that needs fixing or a wall that could use some fresh paint. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids have what they need for the next grade. It’s steady work. People walk by and see the sign, and it’s just part of the local scenery now. We try to keep things organized, even when the office gets crowded with parents asking about schedules. It’s just how it is here every day.
