Glenmore International School

Glenmore International School is right here in Mirik. Most days it’s pretty quiet up here, except when the kids are running around the yard. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The weather changes fast in this part of 734214, so we spend a lot of time making sure the roof is okay and the classrooms stay dry. It’s not a huge place, just a few buildings where the students come to learn. Usually, morning starts with the sound of the bell and everyone rushing to get inside before the mist rolls in too thick. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s names. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, from fixing desks to making sure there’s enough chalk for the day. Sometimes the roads are a bit tricky, but the kids from around Mirik always manage to get here. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. It's mostly just classrooms and a place for the teachers to sit during their breaks. We keep the gate open during the day so parents can stop by if they need to talk about their children. It’s just a normal school doing what schools do. We try to keep the grounds tidy, though the rain makes the grass grow faster than we can cut it. If you walk past, you'll probably hear us doing lessons or just the general noise of a school day in the hills. It's nothing special, just our local school.
