Amarpati Lions Citizens Public School

Amarpati Lions Citizens Public School is located right on the Eastern Bypass in Siliguri, specifically in the Ghughumaali area. If you know Siliguri, you know how busy the bypass can get with all the trucks and traffic heading towards different parts of North Bengal. Our school sits there amidst all that movement. It started out with a bit of help from the local community and the Lions group, and it has just grown into a regular part of the neighborhood over the years. We get kids from all over Ghughumaali and even some from further down the bypass. The morning air is usually full of the sound of vehicles passing by, but once you get inside the gates, things settle down a bit. We have a mix of buildings and a decent amount of space for the students to move around. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have the basics needed to teach the classes every day. The staff here are used to the noise and the fast pace of the area. We just focus on the daily routine of bells, lessons, and lunch breaks. It’s a local school for local people, and we take pride in just being a steady presence for the families who live and work along this busy stretch of road in Siliguri.
