Wet Look Beauty Parlour

Being located at No 60 on Maruthamalai Main Road means we see a lot of the Coimbatore traffic. Pappanaickenpudur is a nice area, quite active with people going to and from work. Our parlour is a modest place. We don’t have those big glass windows or fancy signs. It’s just a spot where local women come when they have some time for themselves. We have the usual equipment, some chairs, and a few mirrors that have been here since we started. The name Wet Look Beauty Parlour stuck, even if it sounds a bit different. Inside, it’s mostly quiet except for the hum of the dryer or someone chatting. We handle things like threading and basic hair work. It’s not a spa or anything like those places in the big malls. It is just a neighborhood shop. Most of our clients are people who live in the apartments or houses nearby. They know us by name, and we know them. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, but people still come in. We try to keep things organized and clean as much as we can. It’s just a daily routine for us here in Coimbatore. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s a practical way to make a living. No need for anything more complicated than that. We just do the work and stay part of the community as the years go by.
