Abishree Beauty Parlour

You can find Abishree Beauty Parlour over in Vadavalli, specifically at No 16 C on the Maruthamalai Main Road. We are very close to the High School Bus Stop, so we get a lot of people who are just getting off the bus or waiting for one. Coimbatore is a nice city, and this area has grown quite a bit recently. Our parlor is a small, cozy space where women from the neighborhood come to get their eyebrows done or maybe a hair oil massage. It’s nothing too fancy, just some basic equipment and a few of us working here. We know the routines of the local ladies—who comes in after dropping their kids at school and who stops by after work. Sometimes we have students from the nearby college popping in for a quick change before a function. The traffic on Maruthamalai road can be quite a lot during the peak hours, so it’s a bit of a relief when people step inside and it’s a bit calmer. We don’t use any of those big words to describe what we do. We just try to make sure everyone feels a bit more refreshed when they leave. The mirrors are old but clear, and we keep our towels clean. It’s just a regular local business run by people who live right here in the community, providing a simple service to our neighbors.
