Akash Beauty Parlour

Akash Beauty Parlour is situated in the Rmc Complex. This is on Palakkad Main Road over in Kunniyamuthur. If you are driving towards the Kerala border, you pass right by us. We are directly opposite Vasen Eye Care, which is a big building everyone recognizes. Coimbatore weather can be dusty and hot, so people often come in just to get their face cleaned or a quick shave after a long ride. It is a small setup. We have a few chairs and basic equipment. I have been running this place for a while now. It is not one of those big chain salons you see in malls. It is just a local parlour for local people. Most of our regulars are from the Kunniyamuthur area. They stop by after work or on their way to the market. We talk about the local news or the traffic on the main road while I work. It gets quite busy on Sunday mornings. That is the time when everyone wants to look decent for the week ahead or for a family function. We keep the floor swept and the towels ready. There is no complicated menu of services. If someone wants a trim, they get a trim. We keep it simple because that is what works for us and our customers. Living and working on Palakkad Main Road means there is never a quiet moment. The buses go past all day long. But inside the shop, it is just regular business as usual.
