Aj Beauty Parlour

Aj Beauty Parlour is situated at 583 Gandhi Maanagar in Peelamedu. If you know where the Selva Vinayagar Kovil is, we are right near there. It’s a local Coimbatore shop where we handle basic beauty needs for the women living around here. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. The inside is simple with a few mirrors and the usual tools we need for hair and skin. Most of our days are spent doing threading or simple hair cuts. We also do some bridal makeup if someone in the neighborhood is getting married. It’s the kind of place where customers stay to chat for a while after their appointment is over. We usually have the radio playing some local music in the background. It isn't a very large space, so when three or four people are inside, it feels quite full. We keep our towels in a stack by the sink and try to keep things tidy, though it gets messy when we are busy. We don't have a website or anything like that, people just know we are here because they live nearby or heard from a friend. It is just a small, honest business providing regular services to the people in Gandhi Maanagar. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening chores are done. Sometimes the door sticks a bit in the rainy season, but we just give it a pull. It’s a plain place for plain needs.
