Vidya Ladies Beauty Parlour

This is Vidya Ladies Beauty Parlour. We are based in Thiruvalluvar Nagar in the Vadavalli area of Coimbatore. Finding us is easy because we are right near Arun Medical. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads which I like. I started this place because I live nearby and wanted something close to my home. Most of the ladies who come here are from the neighborhood. We talk about the local news and what's happening in the market while I work on their hair or skin. It is a ladies-only space, so everyone feels comfortable and relaxed. We do the usual things like threading and facials or simple haircuts. I don't go for those expensive machines that make a lot of noise. I prefer using my hands and simple products that I know work well. Coimbatore weather can be very hot, so a lot of people come in for a hair wash or something to cool down after a long day. Vadavalli is a nice part of town. There are plenty of houses around here and good people. I keep the shop open six days a week. Sometimes on Sundays if someone has a function like a wedding. I don't really do much advertising or marketing. People just see the board when they go to the medical shop next door. It’s a small room but it’s clean and has a big mirror. I’ve known some of these customers for many years now. They feel more like friends than clients.
