We are based at 2-284 Dr. Ambedkar Road in Velandipalayam. It’s a spot right near Avila Convent School, so we get a lot of the morning and afternoon school rush. Abc Agro & Food Machine (india) Pvt. Ltd. is basically a place where we handle food and agro machinery. The building is solid and has been here for quite some time. We have a lot of metal and machine parts sitting around the yard and inside the shop. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like it that way. There’s always the sound of a wrench hitting the floor or a motor starting up. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the repairs and the assembly work. The office is small and usually has a thin layer of dust on the files. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a machine needs fixing, we fix it. If a part needs to be ordered, we order it. We don't use big words or try to act like a giant corporation. We’re just a local business on Ambedkar Road. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench during lunch and watch the cars go by. It’s a good way to spend the day. Most of our customers are folks from the surrounding farms and food shops. They know where to find us when they need help. It is just how we do things here.
