Krishna Trading Co.

Krishna Trading Co. is tucked away on 2nd Street in Chellamal Nagar, which is in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore. We are specifically in Subbanayakan Pudur. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small office space combined. It’s number 9 on the street. It’s a quiet residential-turned-commercial kind of road. You’ll see a lot of trucks and small tempos coming in and out during the day. We handle a lot of trading stuff, so there’s usually a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. It’s physical work. The floor is concrete and the walls are just plain white. We don’t really have any decorations or fancy rugs. We have a small table where we keep the ledger and do the billing. It’s not a place where you’d come for a fancy visit. It’s where work gets done. Ganapathy is a busy part of Coimbatore, but our street is just a bit off the main noise, which is nice for us. Most of us here are from around this neighborhood. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot to work comfortably. By the afternoon, the sun really hits the front of the shop. We keep the fans running and just keep moving the stock until the day is over. It’s a steady pace, and we’ve been doing it like this for quite some years now.
