The workshop is usually full of various machines for food processing and farming. It’s a practical place, built for hard work rather than looking good for visitors. We’ve got high ceilings and lots of light coming in through the big doors. Most days, we’re busy with grease on our hands, making sure the equipment is ready to go. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the machines inside and out. The office part of the building is just a couple of desks and a phone that rings quite a lot. We don’t spend much on decorating the place. We’d rather have good tools and enough space to move the big machines around. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks, and we have to go out and help guide them in. It’s just part of the daily routine here in Velandipalayam. We don't make big promises, we just do the jobs as they come. People around here know us for being straightforward. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. It’s a simple life, but we like it that way.
