Agromech Corporation

Agromech Corporation is based out of No. 4/77- B Chellam House on Ganga Street. This is in the Sathyanarayanapuram area of Chinthamanipudur. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads. We use this place as our main hub for mechanical work related to farming. The building is called Chellam House, and it has been here for a long time. We have a mix of office space and a bit of storage for tools and machinery parts. Most of the guys here know their way around a tractor or a pump better than they know how to use a computer. We spend our mornings checking over the equipment and making sure everything is greased and ready. It’s not a polished environment. There are oil stains on the floor and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But we focus on the machines. People from around the district bring their gear to us when it breaks down. We don’t have a website or a marketing team. Word of mouth usually brings people to Ganga Street. We sit around the small table in the back for our breaks and talk about how the crops are looking. It’s the kind of work that involves a lot of wrenches, spare parts, and patience. We like being in Chinthamanipudur because it’s close enough to the farms we serve and the people we know.
