You can find Twinkle Herbal Beauty Parlour over in Pavayar Nagar. We are at number 6, right on Om Parasakthi Mill Road in Ganapathy. It’s a quiet enough street, but people find us easily because we're near the Shiva Hospital Cut. My sister and I started this because we liked working with herbal products more than the chemical stuff you see everywhere else. It’s a small space, but we keep it tidy. We have a few stations for hair and skin treatments. A lot of ladies from the nearby apartments come here because it's convenient and they know us by name. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just gets around from one neighbor to another. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep chatting until it comes back on. We do basic stuff like henna, facials with natural pastes, and hair trimming. It’s a bit of a climb to get here depending on where you're coming from in Coimbatore, but the road is okay. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. There’s usually some incense burning. It’s just a local business trying to do things right. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. If you’re walking past the hospital cut, you’ll see our door. Most days we are busy, but there’s always a little time to talk while we work. We just hope the local traffic doesn't get much worse than it already is.
