Thisha Beauty Parlour

We’ve been here at the Kvb Complex on R G Street for a while now, running Thisha Beauty Parlour. Most people know us because we are right near Theppakulam Maidanam. It’s a busy spot in Coimbatore. We just open up every morning and get to work on whatever the customers need that day. Sometimes it's a simple haircut or maybe someone needs help getting ready for a family function. We don't do anything fancy, just the usual beauty parlor things like threading and facials. The shop isn't huge but we keep it tidy enough. Sometimes it gets quite crowded on weekends, especially when there's a wedding nearby. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long out in the heat. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s nice being part of the neighborhood. People stop by even if they don't have an appointment, just to see if we have a free chair. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years but we’re still here in the same place. If you're walking past the maidanam, you'll see our sign. We don't spend much on advertising, mostly just folks telling their friends about us. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We just focus on doing a decent job so people come back next time they need a trim or something.
