Sri Shivani Beauty Parlour

Our shop, Sri Shivani Beauty Parlour, is located in the Kalai Complex at No 2/17 on the Gopalapuram Edayarpalayam Road. This part of Vadavalli is quite busy because of the schools and offices nearby. We are right in EB Colony, so we get a lot of regular traffic from the families living around here. The complex itself is an older building and our shop is tucked in among a few other small businesses. It is a humble place with a few chairs and the basic tools we need for our daily work. The morning usually starts with sweeping the front and getting the towels ready. We do a lot of threading and simple hair styles for the local college girls and working women. The noise from the Edayarpalayam Road can be quite loud but once you are inside and the fan is on, it feels a bit more secluded. We have a few mirrors that have been there since we opened and a small table where we keep the appointment book. It isn't a large space but we manage to fit everyone in. People like coming here because it is convenient and they know we will take care of them without making things complicated. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights, just a small board outside the complex. It is a quiet, steady life here in Coimbatore where we just focus on doing a good job for the people who walk through our door every day.
