Sri Sakthi Traders

Mohamed Gani Rowther Street is a narrow place and we are right at number 121. It gets very loud with the bikes and the carts moving through all day long. We have been running Sri Sakthi Traders from this spot for a while. It is a small space filled with boxes and things we trade. Some days the delivery trucks can't even get close so we have to carry everything by hand from the main junction. It is hard work but we are used to it by now. The walls inside could use a new coat of paint, I think. We have an old desk where we keep the ledger and a few chairs for when someone wants to sit and talk for a bit. It’s not just about selling; we hear a lot of news from the neighborhood here. The tea stall next door is where we get our morning drink. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel heavy, especially in the afternoons. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure orders get out. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. People just call or walk in through the front door. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of stock get a bit messy when a big shipment arrives. That’s just part of the business. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
