Gaamadhenu Hardwares is located right on Avinashi Road, at numbers 194-195. It’s a big street and we see a lot of traffic passing by our doors every single day. We’ve got all sorts of things packed into the shelves from floor to ceiling. Tools, nuts, bolts, and the usual stuff you expect at a local hardware place are all here. It can get a bit crowded inside when we have a lot of new stock arriving on the trucks. We don't have a team of fancy salesmen in suits. It's just a few of us here doing the work. We know where everything is, even if the place looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. Avinashi Road is a landmark itself in this area, so people find us pretty easily without much trouble. We open up the shutters early because that’s when the builders and local guys start their daily work. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break to talk about the news. There’s always someone asking for a specific size of screw or a certain tool they lost on a job site. We try to keep all the basics in stock. Being at 194-195, we’ve seen this road change a lot over the years. New buildings are going up and shops are changing hands constantly. But Gaamadhenu Hardwares stays pretty much the same as it always was. We just keep selling what people need for their houses.
