City Tools Syndicate. Our shop is at 96, N.R. Building on Ranga Corner Street in Kattoor. It’s a busy street, especially with all the activity around Gandhi Puram. We are near the Krishnam Complex, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The building itself has been around for a while. We have a lot of tools and supplies stacked up, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we manage. People from all over Kattoor come by when they need something specific for their workshops. It’s mostly just us and the customers talking shop all day. The street can get pretty loud with all the bikes and people moving around Ranga Corner. We keep things simple here. There’s a desk where we do the billing and plenty of shelves that are mostly full. It’s a dusty job, handling all those metal tools and parts, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular place where people come to get what they need for their own jobs. The weather in Coimbatore can get a bit sticky, but we have a couple of fans going to keep it manageable. It’s a steady rhythm, opening up in the morning and closing when the street finally gets quiet in the evening. We have been doing this for a long time and don't plan on changing much. The neighbors are nice too.
