Shri Maheswari Hardwares

We’ve been here at No.109/1 on Mtp Main Road in K. Vadamadurai for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the trucks passing by on the main road throughout the day. People mostly know us as Shri Maheswari Hardwares, but for many around here, we’re just the place where you can get that specific size of screw or a bucket of paint when you’re fixing up the house. The shop isn’t fancy at all. We have shelves packed with all sorts of things, from heavy tools to little plumbing bits that are hard to find. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty in here, but we know where everything is kept. If you ask for something, we can usually dig it out from the back or under a counter. Dealing with hardware is mostly about knowing what fits what. A lot of our day is spent talking to local builders or just folks who have a leak at home. We don’t do much advertising because the sign outside does the work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone you know behind the counter. We open up early because that’s when the work starts for most people. If the sun is out, it gets pretty warm inside, but we keep the fans going. It’s just how things are on Mtp Main Road. We like being part of the neighborhood and seeing the same faces every week.
