Sri Sai Beauty Parlour & Tailors

We have a bit of a unique setup here at No : 7 / 1, Ellai Thottam Road in Peelamedu. Sri Sai Beauty Parlour & Tailors is both a beauty spot and a place where we stitch clothes. We are located near the Subhiksha Ladies Hostel, so we get a lot of students and young women coming in. Coimbatore is a big city, and Peelamedu is a busy area, but our street is a bit more tucked away. Inside, you’ll see sewing machines on one side and salon chairs on the other. It’s quite a mix. One minute we might be threading someone's eyebrows and the next we are taking measurements for a blouse or a salwar suit. It gets quite hectic sometimes with fabrics and thread all over the place. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to do both things. It’s practical for our customers because they can get their tailoring done and have a facial or haircut in the same visit. The shop isn't some polished showroom. It’s a working space where things are happening all the time. We have stacks of cloth and hair products side by side. Most of our customers come from the nearby hostels and houses. They know us as the place that does a bit of everything. We just work hard and try to get the orders finished on time. It’s a small, honest business on Ellai Thottam Road.
