Sri Ragavenra Beauty Parlour

The parlour is located at Shop 24 on DB Road in R S Puram. Being right opposite the Rajasthani Kalyana Mandapam means we see a lot of activity, especially during the wedding season when people are rushing around the street. We started Sri Ragavenra Beauty Parlour to provide a place for women in the Coimbatore area to get their basic grooming done. It is not one of those high-end places with loud music and fancy lights. Instead, it is a small, functional space where we do threading, waxing, and some simple facials or hair styling. The fans are usually running fast to keep the heat away during the afternoons. Most of our ladies are regulars who live nearby or work in the shops on DB Road. They come in for a quick eyebrow trim or to get their hair tied up for an evening event. We have a few chairs and a small waiting area that often gets filled with bags and umbrellas. The staff and I just focus on the task in front of us. We use the products that people are used to and feel comfortable with. Sometimes the street outside is very noisy with traffic, but inside we just keep working through our daily appointments. It is a busy little shop and we don’t make a big fuss about things. If someone needs a quick touch-up before a function at the mandapam across the street, they just walk in.
