Rave Impex

Rave Impex is situated at 31/23A, Velammal Layout in Sengunthapuram. It is a residential-feeling area which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than if we were in a big commercial hub. Our office is a modest space where we handle all the logistics and planning that comes with the import and export business. There are always boxes and samples sitting around, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we manage to stay organized enough to find what we need. The morning usually starts with a lot of phone calls to check on where things are and when they will arrive. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls or anything like that; we just have a big map and a bunch of calendars. It is a small team, so we don't really have formal departments. If a shipment needs checking, whoever is free just goes and does it. We take our breaks together and usually talk about things other than work just to give our brains a rest. The neighborhood is quiet, which is nice when we need to concentrate on the finer details of the paperwork. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we are just trying to make sure the goods get to where they need to go on time. It is straightforward, practical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
