If you’ve ever walked down Cross Cut Road in Gandhi Puram, you know how crowded it gets. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with plates, bowls, and all sorts of kitchen stuff. Honestly, it’s a bit of a maze in here. We try to keep it organized, but when a big shipment arrives, there are crates everywhere. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the street change around us. People come in looking for a single replacement mug or a whole set for a wedding. We don't really do the big sales pitches you see in malls. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The fans overhead hum all day long to keep the heat away. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to help customers find what they need. It's just part of the routine. We know the other shopkeepers on the block, and we usually share a coffee in the afternoons when things quiet down for a bit. It’s a simple business, really. We buy things, we stack them up, and we sell them to whoever walks through the door. It’s nothing fancy, just a reliable spot on a busy road. The inventory keeps growing, so we are always finding new corners to put things. It’s a bit cramped but we like it that way because it feels like home.
