Meenumix

You can find us over at 108, Avarampalayam Road. It’s a place that stays fairly noisy because of all the traffic passing by outside. I’ve spent more hours in this building than I have at my own house, I think. Meenumix isn't some giant factory; it’s more of a local operation where we keep things straightforward. The shelves are usually packed tight with whatever we are working on at the moment. I try to keep the front desk clear, but papers always seem to pile up. My hands are usually a bit dirty from checking the parts, so I don't always look like a businessman. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most people who come here heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. Avarampalayam Road is a good place to be, even if parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for years now. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. There is a lot of back-and-forth chatter during the day. It’s not a quiet office environment. We focus on the work at hand and try to get things out the door on time. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big pile of work, and other times we close up a bit early if it’s slow. It’s a real business run by real people who live nearby.
