Rakas Beauty Parlour

Rakas Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Kumaran Complex. We are on the first floor, shop number C 2. The building is at No 126 on 5th Street, just off the 100 Feet Road in Gandhipuram. Being in Coimbatore's 641012 area means there is always something going on around us. Our place isn't very big, but we've made it work for a long time. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but once you’re there, it’s a calm little spot. We do regular beauty work for the ladies who live around here. Most of our customers come by word of mouth. We don't spend money on flyers or big signs. The 100 Feet Road is famous for shopping, so sometimes people drop in after buying clothes nearby. We just use simple tools and keep things tidy. It’s an honest little business. We know our regulars and what they like. The shop has a bit of a homey feel, not like those shiny salons in the malls. We’ve been part of this complex for years now. Sometimes the parking on 5th Street is a bit tight, but that’s Gandhipuram for you. We just open the shutters every morning and get started. It’s a basic place for basic beauty needs. Most days we are around if you need something done.
