R & B Unisex Hair Salon & Academy

Our shop is over at the Ashirwadh Building, specifically No 36/4 on D B Road in R S Puram. If you’re driving through Coimbatore and see the Bharat Petrol Bunk, we are right there on the opposite side. R & B Unisex Hair Salon & Academy is a bit of a busy place because we don't just cut hair; we teach people how to do it too. Being in the 641002 area means there is always a lot of traffic. D B Road is never quiet. Inside, you’ll see students practicing on mannequins or helping out with the actual customers. It’s a loud environment with the blow dryers going and people talking about techniques. We have sections for men and women since it's a unisex place. The academy side takes up a good portion of the back area. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the front door sticks a bit when it’s raining. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with magazines from this year. It's just some plastic chairs and a water cooler. People come here because they want their hair done right without paying mall prices. We use the standard combs and scissors everyone else uses. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic with the classes and the walk-ins, but we manage to keep things moving. We just focus on the work and ignore the noise from the street.
