Podar Jumbo Kids

Podar Jumbo Kids is located at No 5, N G Narayanasamy Street, right in the Sidhapudur area of Coimbatore. It is a place specifically for the little ones, so the atmosphere is always a bit chaotic but in a good way. You will find small chairs and tables scattered around the rooms, designed for tiny hands and feet. The street outside, N G Narayanasamy Street, gets quite busy with traffic and people, but once you step inside the gates, it’s all about the kids. We have colorful drawings pinned up on the walls, mostly done by the children themselves with crayons and paper. There is a small play area where they spend time when it isn’t too hot outside. Coimbatore can get quite warm, so we make sure there is plenty of water for everyone to drink. The staff here spends most of their time helping kids with their shoes or opening their snack boxes. It’s a lot of work looking after toddlers, and there is usually someone crying or laughing at any given moment. We don't use a loud bell here because it would scare the younger ones. Instead, we just move from one activity to the next by talking to them. The parents usually wait outside the gate at pickup time, chatting with each other. It’s a very local feel, and we’ve become a familiar sight on this particular street over the years. We just keep things simple and practical for the families in Sidhapudur.
