Chocolate Buds Play School

Out here in Coimbatore, we run Chocolate Buds Play School. It is a busy little place filled with noise most of the day. You can usually hear the kids laughing or crying from the street when the windows are open. We did not want anything too formal, just a spot where the neighborhood kids can stay while their parents are at work. The rooms are filled with toys and drawings that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time cleaning up blocks and crayons after everyone leaves. Coimbatore is a big city but our little corner feels pretty small and tight-knit. We see the same parents every morning at the gate. Some kids stay for a few hours and others are here all day. We have some outdoor space where they can run around when it is not too hot outside. It gets a bit chaotic during lunch time, but that is just how it goes with little ones. We do not have a massive staff, just a few of us who actually like being around children. We try to keep things organized but with twenty toddlers, things get messy fast. It is a lot of work, honestly. We do not use any fancy teaching methods, just basic stuff like letters and colors and making sure everyone plays nice. It feels more like a big home than a formal school. We just do our best to keep them safe and happy until pick-up time.
