Sree Saraswathi Giri School

Sree Saraswathi Giri School is over in Thirumalai Nagar in Tirupur. Since we are in Tirupur, a lot of the parents around here work in the garment factories and textile units. They drop their kids off early in the morning before heading to work. Our school isn't very big, but we make use of the space we have. We have the usual classrooms with wooden benches and plenty of windows to let the air in. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do keep a strict schedule for the lessons. We do not have any marketing brochures or social media people. Most of our information just goes out by word of mouth among the neighbors. Some days it is a bit chaotic when there is a local event or a holiday coming up, but we just deal with it as it happens. We focus on the regular subjects like math and science. The teachers here have been working together for a while, so we all know how the school runs. We have a small yard where the kids can run around for a bit, but it is mostly about being in the classroom. We do not make any big promises; we just provide a place for the children to be while their parents are at work. It is a simple setup for the local community here in Tirupur.
