Bumblee Bee Montessori Play School

Bumblee Bee Montessori Play School is located at No 115 in GV Residency, which is part of the Sowripalayam area in Coimbatore. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels quite safe and calm for a school. The building is designed to let the kids move around easily, and we use the Montessori way of doing things where they get to pick what they want to work on. There are shelves with all sorts of wooden blocks, beads, and puzzles that help them learn with their hands. We don’t have rows of desks like a traditional school; instead, you’ll find kids sitting on the floor or at small tables. The morning usually involves a lot of greeting and putting away small bags and water bottles in their cubbies. We spend time in the garden area when the Coimbatore weather is nice, letting the children look at the plants or just run around. The staff here is used to the constant chatter and the occasional mess that comes with having so many little kids in one place. We don’t put on a show for anyone, we just let the kids be themselves while they learn how to do things like pour water or button their own coats. It is a slow and steady process, and we like it that way. Most of the families live right here in the residency, so we see them out walking in the evenings too. It’s just a simple, local place for children to start out.
