Pearls Nursery School

Our little nursery school is tucked away on Bharathi Park 2nd Cross Road in Saibaba Colony. It is a residential area, so it feels quite safe and familiar for the small children who come here. The building at No 32/1 used to be a regular house before it became a school. Because of that, the rooms are small and cozy, which is perfect for toddlers. We have colorful drawings taped all over the walls, mostly done by the kids themselves. There is a small area outside where we have a swing and a slide, though they have been faded by the sun over the years. The teachers here are very patient because you have to be when you are dealing with three-year-olds all day. It gets very noisy with crying and laughing, sometimes at the same time. We don't have a big corporate structure. If a parent needs to talk, they just walk in and find us in the hallway or the office. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spilled juice and helping kids with their shoes. It is a messy, happy place. We do not have a lot of high-tech toys. We mostly use blocks, crayons, and songs to keep the children occupied. It is a simple operation run by people who live right here in Coimbatore. We just take care of the little ones until their parents come to pick them up in the afternoon.
