Nikitha Pre Nursery School

We're located on the first floor of a building in Co Operative Colony, right in Uppilipalayam. It’s No 84, if you’re looking for the door. Being a pre-nursery, our days are filled with the sounds of very young children. There’s a lot of singing and a fair amount of crying too, especially on Monday mornings. The space isn’t huge, but it’s enough for the little ones to play and have their naps. We spend most of our time keeping an eye on them and making sure they eat their snacks. It’s a busy job that requires a lot of patience. The floors are covered with mats, and there are toys scattered around most of the time. We try to keep it clean, but with toddlers, it’s a constant battle. The parents are mostly people who work nearby in Coimbatore. They drop the kids off on their way to work and come back in the late afternoon. It’s a practical setup for the families in the colony. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just look after the children and teach them a few basic things before they move on to bigger schools. It’s a small, local operation, and we’re fine with that. We just keep showing up and doing the work because it needs to be done for the families.
