New Rahul Salon

We've been at this spot on Rajeev Naidu Street for a good while now. It's just across from the Karur Vysya Bank here in Gandhipuram. Most folks in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy, but we keep it clean. Rahul started this place because he liked cutting hair and wanted to work for himself. We get a lot of regulars who come in every few weeks for their usual trim. Sometimes it gets busy on weekends, especially in the mornings, so people might have to wait on the bench for a bit. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening in Coimbatore while we work. The fan runs all day to keep the place cool. We do hair cutting, shaving, and the basic stuff men need. It’s a simple routine. We open early and stay until the evening. The street gets a bit crowded with traffic, but it’s easy enough to find us. We just try to do a decent job so people come back next time. No big posters or loud music, just the sound of scissors and the radio playing quietly in the corner. That’s pretty much how we run things here at New Rahul Salon. We know our customers by name and they know us. It feels right being a part of this street and seeing the same faces. We also make sure the mirrors are wiped down and the combs are clean for every person.
