New Levins Saloon & Hair Lines

New Levins Saloon & Hair Lines is tucked away on 1st Street in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore. We are specifically over in Lakshmi Puram which is a nice residential part of the city. I’ve been working with hair for a long time and decided to set this place up because the neighborhood needed a reliable spot for a haircut. It’s mostly men and kids who come in here. We have the standard barber chairs and the big mirrors that every salon has. In the mornings we usually have the local newspaper lying around for people to read while they wait. The fan keeps things cool enough but when the Coimbatore sun is out it can get warm. We do shaves and haircuts and sometimes a bit of head massage if someone is feeling tired from work. It’s a small space but we make it work. I like talking to the neighbors who stop by even if they aren't getting a haircut that day. The street outside is usually quiet except for the occasional delivery bike. We don't use any fancy machines or anything just good scissors and a steady hand. My brother helps me out on the weekends when the school kids all come in at once. It’s just a regular life here in Ganapathy. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the floor gets covered in hair faster than I can sweep it up.
