We are located at No 2225 in the N N Complex on Trichy Road. It’s a busy stretch of road here in Singanallur, and being near the Ambal Theater means there is always something happening outside the door. People often come in before they go to catch a movie or right after they’ve finished their shopping nearby. The shop is a decent size with plenty of mirrors and those big salon chairs that everyone knows. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long, but sometimes on the weekends it’s just unavoidable because of the rush. You’ll find the usual tools of the trade here—scissors, dryers, and lots of different bottles on the counters. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t put on any acts; we just get to work when a customer sits down. The lighting is bright so we can see what we’re doing, and we try to keep the music at a level where people can still talk. Trichy Road is a main artery of Coimbatore, so we get a mix of local residents and people who are just driving through. It can get a bit dusty with the road being so close, so we are always cleaning the glass and the floors. We’ve been part of the Singanallur community for a while now, and it’s nice seeing the same faces come back. It’s just a regular saloon where we try to do a solid job.
