Najarganj Primary School

If you go down Sullivan Street in Coimbatore, you'll find Najarganj Primary School. It’s right there in the heart of the 641001 area. We operate as a kids' play school, so as you can imagine, it’s pretty loud most of the time. There’s a lot of laughter and the occasional crying fit. The building on Sullivan Street is decorated with colorful drawings to make it look inviting for the little ones. We have a few rooms filled with toys and small chairs. The teachers here have a lot of patience, which they definitely need. We spend our days playing games, teaching the alphabet, and making sure everyone gets their snacks on time. It’s a busy street outside, but once you step inside, it’s all about the children. We have a small outdoor area, but we mostly stay inside where it’s cooler. Parents from the neighborhood drop their kids off early before heading to work. We know most of the families around here. It’s a tight-knit community in this part of Coimbatore. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just us, some toys, and a bunch of energetic kids. The floor is usually covered in building blocks by noon. We just tidy it up and start again the next day. It’s simple work, but it keeps us on our toes. Sullivan Street is a good place for us, and we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where we are and what we do.
