Motesari Higher Primary School

Our school is tucked away at 3/29 in the Lakshmi Garden area, which is part of Saravanampatti here in Coimbatore. It is a nice enough spot, especially with the Sri Vidhyajammaer Village nearby. We handle the younger kids mostly, the ones in primary school. If you walk by in the morning, you will hear them singing or repeating their lessons. The garden setting makes it a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which is something we appreciate. We have a few rooms set up for different ages, and we try to keep things organized, though with children, there is always a bit of a mess with crayons or papers by the end of the day. The building is simple, and we like it that way. Most of the staff live in Coimbatore and take the bus or ride their scooters in. We know the names of most of the parents because we see them every single day at the gate. It is a small community really. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in the city. We just want to make sure the kids who live around Lakshmi Garden have a place to go where they can learn their basics. It is practical work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. Sometimes we have small events, and the whole place gets a bit chaotic, but mostly it is just steady learning and playing. It works for the families in this neighborhood.
