Manis Saloon

Manis Saloon has been on Karunanithi Street for quite some time now. If you live around Tatabad in Coimbatore, you probably know where the shop is located at number 3. It is a simple place, nothing too fancy, just chairs and mirrors and the usual things you find in a saloon. Most days, we open up early because people want to get their hair cut or a quick shave before they head off to work. The street gets busy fast, especially with everyone moving around this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside, but inside we just keep doing what we do. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People mostly find us by walking past or because a friend told them about the place. It's just a regular local spot. Sasthri Road is close by too, so we get people coming from that side as well. We try to keep the place clean, though it gets dusty because of the road traffic. It’s just me and the guys working here, day in and day out. We know most of the faces that come through the door by now. It is just a small business trying to get things right for the neighborhood folks. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a place to sit down, get your hair sorted, and go about your day. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same.
