Little Flowers Children School

If you go to Karunanithi Nagar in the Sowripalayam area of Coimbatore, you’ll find us. We’re tucked away in a residential part of the city at 641028. It’s a lot quieter here than being on the main highway, which is nice for the kids. The school itself isn’t huge. It’s a smaller building that feels more like a house in some ways. We have a few rooms converted into classrooms and a little bit of space out front for the children to line up for assembly. Most of our students live within walking distance, so you see parents dropping them off on scooters every morning. We have some potted plants near the entrance to make it look a bit more cheerful. The teachers here have a lot of patience, which they need because the kids can be quite a handful. We don't have a big website or a social media team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know us. Inside, the walls have some stickers of flowers and animals, and the floors are simple tile. It’s easy to clean, which is important when you have dozens of children running around. We keep things very simple and straightforward. There’s a small desk where the head of the school sits, and a cupboard full of old textbooks and registers. It’s just a neighborhood school where we do our best for the local families.
