Lakshana Beauty Care

Lakshana Beauty Care is situated at No 63/94 on Avinashi Road, right in the Hope College area of Peelamedu. If you know where Nellai Lala Sweets is, we are just upstairs from them. It’s a very busy spot because Avinashi Road is one of the main veins of Coimbatore. There is always a lot of traffic and people moving around. We’ve been in this upstairs location for a good while. Being above a sweet shop means it always smells pretty good when you’re coming up the stairs. The parlor itself is a simple place. We have a few stations for hair and skin treatments. We get a mix of people—students from the nearby colleges and people who work in the offices around Peelamedu. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we have fans going all the time. We aren't a big corporate salon. It’s just a few of us doing our best. We do threading, hair coloring, and various facials. Sometimes it’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but people don’t seem to mind. We like the view of the road from our windows. It’s a good place to see the city moving. We don't do much advertising. Most people just see our sign while they are getting sweets or waiting for a bus. We try to keep things friendly and down-to-earth. It’s just a normal business where we work hard and hope for the best. That’s the way it is with us.
