Jayas Beuty Parlour

Jayas Beuty Parlour is located right in Kovaipudur, and we are very easy to spot because we are right near the Government School. During the day, you can hear the kids shouting and playing during their break times, which makes the area feel quite lively. We set up this shop to serve the families living around here in Coimbatore. It’s a small, quiet place where we do things like threading and basic hair work for the local women. The room isn't very large, so if three or four people come in at once, it gets a bit tight, but nobody seems to mind. We have some simple curtains for privacy and a few mirrors that we try to keep wiped down. Most of our day is spent talking to mothers who have just dropped their children off at the school or neighbors who are out for a walk. We don't have any flashy lights or big advertisements. Usually, people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the colony. The shelves have some bottles and jars we use, and everything is kept in its place as much as possible. It is a humble little spot where the work is steady and the talk is mostly about the local news or the weather. We like being part of the Kovaipudur community and seeing the same faces every week. It feels good to have a shop where people feel comfortable stopping by.
