Our shop is located at No:298H6 in Rajiv Nagar, specifically on 4th Street over here in Kovilpatti. It’s a quiet enough area in the Thoothugudi district, though it picks up during the day. We have been selling hardware items from this spot for some time. It's a basic setup with shelves full of tools, nuts, bolts, and whatever else people need for their houses or small repairs. If you walk down 4th street, you’ll see our sign. Hardware is a broad name, but we try to keep the things people actually ask for in stock. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular brick and mortar place where we spend our mornings and evenings. We get a lot of locals coming in who are working on their own homes. Sometimes they don’t even know the name of the part they need, so we just look through the bins together until we find it. That’s how it goes in a small town like Kovilpatti. We don't have a big corporate team or a website that does fancy things. It is just us here behind the counter. The humidity in Thoothugudi can be a lot, especially in the summer, but the shop stays relatively cool. We usually have a tea in the afternoon and wait for the late rush before closing up. It’s a decent life and we know our neighbors.
