Blue Star Hair Lines (Saloons & Beauty Parlours)

Blue Star Hair Lines is our little shop located at 10/69 in the Town Hall area of Coimbatore. We are right near Lala Sweets, which most people know because of the snacks. Being in Town Hall means it’s always loud and there’s always people walking past our door. We do hair for both men and women, acting as a saloon and beauty parlour in one. The building is older, and we’ve been here for many years. We don't have a modern look; it’s more of a traditional local shop. There are a few old chairs and some mirrors that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. On festival days, it gets really packed and we barely have time to sit down. We don't really do appointments, so people just sit on the bench and wait their turn. Sometimes we chat with the customers about what’s going on in the city. It’s a very grounded place. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just cutting hair and keeping people looking neat. The traffic outside can be a headache, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on our customers and try to do a decent job every time. It’s just a regular part of the Town Hall market scene, nothing more and nothing less.
