Arthika Herbal Ladies Beauty Parlour

We are located at No.55 in Rangaswamy Lay Out which is part of the Lakshmi Puram area in Peelamedu. This is a quiet residential street for the most part although you can hear the birds in the trees nearby. Arthika Herbal Ladies Beauty Parlour is a small place where we do basic things for the local women. We use a lot of herbal powders and pastes that we keep in jars on the shelf. The smell of the herbal mixes is always in the air when you walk in. We have a sink in the corner for washing hair and a couple of chairs facing the main mirror. Coimbatore weather is usually okay but the afternoons get warm so the fan is always running. We spend a lot of time mixing things or cleaning the brushes. The neighbors are friendly and sometimes they just pop their heads in to say hello. It is a simple setup with a tiled floor and some cupboards for our towels and tools. We don't have any big flashy signs just a small one outside our door. Most days involve a lot of standing and moving around the chairs. We make sure the floor is swept clean before the next person sits down. It is just a regular life running a parlor in a place like Lakshmi Puram. We keep the door slightly ajar to let the breeze in when it is not too dusty.
